Around this time the New york Knicks had a very good record having recently won NBA championships back in years 1970 and 1973 and this year had a record of 47 wins and 35 losses they were on a roll. later in year 1994 the Knicks would almost beat the Houston Rockets in the NBA championships later being beat mainly since the Rockets had defensive nvp Hakeem Olajuwon nick named "The Dream". Patrick Ewing (C), Charles Oakley (PF), Anthony Bonner/Charles Smith (SF), John Starks (SG), and Greg Anthony/Derek Harper (PG). were the starters in 1994 this would be the Nicks final stand as a dominant NBA team.
